TIPS
FOR THOSE BEING TUTORED
-
Study the
course material before each tutor session. Come
to each session prepared with specific
questions.
-
Attend EACH
class. A tutor session is not an acceptable
substitute for a cut class.
-
Do expect
the tutor to help you with concepts, methods and
examples. Do NOT expect your tutor to do your
work or provide solutions to your homework or
projects.
-
Be regular
and prompt at tutoring sessions. Bring along any
materials you may need at the tutoring session.
Notify the tutor in a timely manner of illness
or any other need to cancel a session.
-
Implement
suggestions for improved study habits as
suggested by your tutor.
-
Notify the
tutor program coordinator of any problems.
