Project TUNA II

 

 

Electrical Engineering senior student Zinnour M. Soultanov undertook Project TUNA II in the spring semester of 2001 as a project in Senior Design (EENG 4415) at the University of Texas at Tyler.  Zinnour is a Russian native who transferred to the University of Texas at Tyler in 1999 and graduated summa cum laude with a BSEE in December, 2001.

 

Mr. Soultanov is currently employed by SPEA America, the US branch of an Italian company which manufactures automated electronic test equipment.

 


 


The photograph above was taken in May, 2001, and depicts Mr. Soultanov with the prototype of the TUNA II instrument.  Just visible on the screen of the monitor are frequency-response curves of a pole-zero network made with the prototype instrument.
